YOU CAN - Youth Ambassadors’ Program (under the aegis of Climate Jamboree – a TERI-SAS Initiative) is an effort to create a group of dynamic and powerful young change-makers from diverse fields but a uniform mission – contributing actively to a sustainable future.

In 2019, c. 100 Youth Ambassadors from across India shall be selected, trained and mentored to be the torchbearers of this youth movement on sustainability and to lead the local transition towards sustainable growth through peer learning sessions and social impact-oriented projects.

The program shall be conducted in three phases:

  • Phase 1: Application Submissions, Interviews and Final selection of Youth Ambassadors
  • Phase 2: Capacity Building Webinar, Peer Learning Sessions & Project Designing by Ambassadors
  • Phase 3: Project Management Webinar, Project Finalisation and Project Implementation

Who can apply?

School Level: Students of Grade 9 and Above
College Level: Undergraduate Students Enrolled in Recognized Educational Institutions

How to Apply?

Applicants must complete the online application form at (registration link). Applications sent through email and hard copies will not be accepted.

  • The application form would require a photograph of yours for completion. Please keep a digital image ready in size not exceeding 1MB in .jpg or .jpeg format.
  • Last date for applications is 20 August 2019 by 1400 hrs (IST)
  • Applicants must be within the eligibility criteria
  • There is no restriction to the number of applicants per school/college.
  • Answers must be student’s own perspective and should not include any information copied from other sources. Any such information or quotes, if used, should be appropriately referenced.

  • Youth Ambassadors to be invited for participation at their respective Regional-Level Youth Summits.
  • Selected Youth Ambassadors to be invited for the National-Level Youth Ambassadors’ Meet being organized in Delhi.
  • Certificates of recognition to all Youth Ambassadors upon successful completion of the program.
  • Best performing Youth Ambassadors to be felicitated at the Climate Jamboree Mega Conference.
  • All Youth Ambassadors to be recognised on the Climate Jamboree website.
  • Volunteering and exposure opportunities with the Climate Jamboree team.
