Baan is an arts entrepreneur, musician/composer, and an avid adventure lover. He has more than 14 years of experience as a professional musician performing and recording worldwide with artists like Bernie Marsden (Guitar, ex Whitesnake, UK), Murad Ali Khan (Sarangi, India), Susmit Sen (Guitar, ex Indian Ocean, India), Kamal Sabri (Sarangi, India), Leonhard Huhn (Saxophone, Germany), Sebastian Gramss (Upright Bass, Germany), Philip Zoubek (Prepared Piano, Germany), Rabbi Shergill (Singer-Songwriter, India), Orosz Zoltan (Accordion, Hungary), Gianni Denitto (Saxophone, Italy), Saibal Basu (Guitar, ex Orange Street, India), Gyan Singh (Tabla, Mrigya, India) to name a few.

He is a recipient of the ARThink South Asia Fellowship in arts management, FRSA (UK), British Council’s Young Creative Entrepreneur, Goethe Institut’s SAMUR fellowship, Harvard Business School's Strategic Nonprofit Management (India) 2018, Masters in Arts & Cultural management - Leuphana (University of Luneberg), THNK school of creative leadership's Executive Leadership programme and Gates Foundation's Fellowship in Leadership & Innovation.

He has had an exciting career in the corporate world (thanks to his foray into the world of business management and information technology) but chose to pursue arts as it brings him closer to his passion and be a part of the global ‘creative change- makers’ community.

He currently serves as the Managing Trustee of an arts-based not for profit – Aagaaz Theatre Trust, Co-Founder / Bass player / Composer with a multi arts performance project - Dastaan LIVE and also consults with various startups around strategy/leadership development.
